Oral Appliances

Patient Having Difficulty Sleeping

Oral Appliances for Bruxism

For Patients with Bruxism (teeth-grinding), a custom removable acrylic appliance can be made  to protect teeth against wear, breakage and other effects of grinding the teeth (bruxism) while sleeping.

Oral Appliances for Sleep Apnea & Snoring

For Patients suffering from Sleep Apnea or Snoring, Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) is often an effective alternative to CPAP for patients. Our office will create a custom-fitted oral appliance that aids patients during sleep by positioning the lower jaw and tongue in a way that minimizes airway obstruction that may cause snoring or sleep apnea.

Custom Mouth Guards

Many sports require athletes to use a mouth guard to protect their teeth while practicing and playing. Frequently used in contact sports, the mouth guard covers the gums and teeth to provide protection for lips, gums, teeth, and arches. A properly fitted mouth guard can reduce the severity of dental injuries.
